New Web Ad!

ALERT: Remember to vote for Sarah in MSNBC's "Veepstakes"! Polls close Monday at noon (Eastern). Also, don't forget to listen to Steve Maloney Monday on Sirius Sattelite Radio!

I am extremely proud to announce the release of the very first YouTube ad promoting Sarah Palin for Vice President, which we are co-sponsoring with our good friend Kristofer Lorelli of PalinforVP.com (who did the production work). I think it does a very good job of capturing our message and summarizing all of the great qualities that Palin would bring to Sen. McCain's ticket. This could be a great marketing tool for us, so let's make sure it goes viral. Please post this to your blog, send it to your friends, anything to make sure that it is watched as many times as possible.

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s cut to the chase—

PAWLENTY/ CRIST/ JINDAL —2 boring white guys, and the bright young guy who still needs to prove he can hold onto a job. Yawn.

PALIN- interesting, attractive, world class multi-tasker, Sarah Barracuda, experienced local and state government executive, giant-killer, maverick, marathon runner.

Earth mother/NRA life member, bridgetonowhere-killer, energy expert, human dynamo, “no more earmarks for my state”, budget slasher, wife of the First Dude, beauty queen, Queen of the Hockey Moms, “What’s a glass ceiling?”, state basketball champ, pro-life in fact and theory, pro-family and backs it up, Mrs. Iron Dog, “When will Track be deployed?” , “We feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift.”

Which one will create the most media buzz? Which best attracts a constituency that transcends regions and states? Which has a proven recent track record of out-debating and out-performing opponents?

Which will best solidify the conservative/ GOP base? Which will swing voter independent/ young/ working suburban moms best identify with? Which is most likely to help create the biggest post-convention bounce?

I updated your video to Real Clear Politics. If it gets at least ten votes it will be featured on the home page.

Where do I sign up to campaign for her?

I have not felt that good about a Conservative since the Gipper!

I have not yet figured out trackback, so check out my post here.

The more I see of Gov. Palin, the more I am impressed.

Although we currently reside in Tennessee we had the priviledge of living in Alaska for twenty years. I worked with Todd on the North Slope and Sarah got her start in politics as Mayor of Wasilla. She beat out a long term encumbent and has never looked back. Sarah has always demonstrated a "pureness" to politics which would have made our fourfathers proud. She is a true public servant. The Palins are geniune people with outstanding character and morals. We would gladly support Sarah Palin as Vice President...we would gladly support her as PRESIDENT!

John McCain is reading this stuff.

Reported at top of Drudge Report "McCain using GOOGLE to vet VP candidates..."

And the Reuters news story tells of McCain joking (to laughter at a fund-raising luncheon) about this, saying "You know, basically its a Google...What you can find out now on the internet -- its remarkable."

All kidding aside, I think this is significant -- and this Palin website and other web/blog comments on Palin ARE HITTING HOME!

Kudos to Adam Brickley!

It’s easy for political junkies to get used to the idea that politicians lack character. It isn't just that we hear politicians lie to us so often. It’s that, in order to make analyzing their words interesting, you always have to question whether the politician is being entirely straightforward. You ask questions like, "who is he trying to appeal to?" and "what does it mean that he said 'war on terror' in February but 'war against Islamic extremism' in April?" as if the possibility that he might be simply saying what he believes is just one possibility among many. If you take them at their word, you have to work to have something else to talk about.

And once you've accepted that our leaders are not going to be honest but are always going to pander to this or that interest group, you stop looking for character in your candidates & start looking for things like knowledge, experience, and plans you agree with. Those come first & character — such a fickle lady — gets attention only as a bonus.

But this is exactly the opposite of how it should be. Our leaders can hire as many experts as they need. But no one can hire character & integrity. Except us, of course. We, who vote can hire character. And can anyone name any politician today who has more character than Sarah Palin?

Update;

Based on email responses, the video appears to be a success.

Interesting demographics data. Younger man and woman over 45 appear to be our viewers.

Please excuse me, I reversed my statement.

It appears to be younger women (under45) and men over 45.

Gov. Palin is the clear choice for the Republicans in 2008. With Clinton out of the race, Palin would fill in the huge void many Clinton voters are feeling. If the Republicans are serious about winning in November, a McCain/Palin ticket is the only option.

Who in their right mind would want this woman to have any more power? She is an embarrassment to womankind. I'm a staunch Rebulican of 24 years but if McCain chooses her as VP, I will never donate another dollar to the GOP.
